  • No source code access. Warclick never reads or stores your source code, file contents, or filenames.
  • GitHub data, metadata only. We analyze activity metadata (timestamps, event types) and limited text like commit messages and pull request titles to group activity.
  • Emails are stored for analytics accuracy. Email addresses provided by GitHub are used only to link contributor identities correctly across repositories.
  • Session replay is respectful. We may record sessions to improve usability. We do not record keystrokes, and all sensitive inputs are masked.
  • AI is used safely. No identifying user or organization data is sent to language models. Warclick prompts are configured to prohibit training AI models on your data.
  • Your data stays in the U.S. All data is hosted in AWS U.S. regions only.
  • You're in control. Admins can delete their organization and data at any time.

This Privacy Policy describes how Warclick, LLC ("Warclick," "we," "us") collects, uses, and protects information when you use the Warclick service ("Service").

1. Information We Collect

1.1 GitHub-Provided Information

When you authenticate via GitHub, we receive:

  • GitHub username and user ID
  • Display name (if available)
  • Email address (if provided by GitHub)
  • Organization and repository access metadata
  • Team membership metadata

1.2 Activity Metadata

We collect metadata related to GitHub activity, including:

  • Commits, pull requests, issues, and reviews
  • Timestamps and event types
  • Limited text such as commit messages and pull request titles

We do not collect:

  • Source code
  • File contents or filenames
  • Repository clones
  • Secrets or credentials

1.3 Usage & Analytics Data

We use Google Analytics and similar tools to understand product usage, including:

  • Page views
  • Feature usage
  • Navigation patterns

1.4 Session Replay

We may use session replay tools to improve usability and diagnose issues.

Session replay:

  • Records user interactions visually
  • Does not record keystrokes
  • Masks sensitive inputs (e.g., passwords, tokens)

We use collected information to:

  • Provide engineering telemetry and analytics
  • Accurately attribute activity to contributors
  • Improve product usability and performance

  • Prompts are configured to prohibit model training

4. Data Hosting & Security

  • All data is hosted in AWS U.S. regions only
  • No international data storage or processing
  • Industry-standard security practices are used to protect data
  • Access is limited to authorized personnel only

5. Data Retention & Deletion

  • Customer Data may be retained for up to 120 days after cancellation or uninstallation for billing reconciliation and service continuity
  • Administrators may delete their organization and associated data at any time
  • After retention periods, data may be permanently deleted

6. Data Sharing

We do not sell personal data.

We may share data only:

  • With infrastructure providers (e.g., AWS, analytics tools)
  • To comply with legal obligations
  • In aggregated, anonymized form for benchmarking

7. Cookies & Tracking

Warclick uses cookies and similar technologies for:

  • Authentication
  • Analytics
  • Session continuity

Tracking pixels for advertising are not currently used but may be introduced in the future. This policy will be updated if that occurs.

8. Your Rights (U.S. Residents)

Depending on your state, you may have the right to:
